Self Made Volume 2, I think this project will be an instant classic, with a nice variety. From turn up vibes to poetic vibes, even story telling etc. Y’all know I’m always giving different vibes and recreating myself. The Self Made Series basically is a 1 producer per release.

The 1st one was produced by JMo from Trakkillaz, now for Volume 2. I decided to go with C.Y MusikHouz, because I think it will bring that old vibe back, that Young Dream vibe. but in a more seasoned fashion. In the future I may do full album and combine the series in 1 project, no telling but I’m definitely going hard. I been self made in real life and I do it for those that feel the same as me. IYKYK

About “Tainted Love”

Tainted love is one of those records that’s self explanatory, it basically speaks on that lack of love of self and society–how as a whole the thought of love has been tainted in many ways. Sometimes I hate to discuss it, because the thought of love can heal and can be devastating, so it’s actually scary at times–especially how the world is now.

I felt the need to display this concept and put it on Black Sheep, because as a Black Sheep of any kind, a concept like this has significance to you, it has to because it speaks to humanity. We have to learn how to distribute, conserve and just appreciate love, but first love ourselves–so–our–hearts are not tainted, then we can be useful to God and do as we need to when it comes to love… Shout out to my Boy Reeko Law for getting vulnerable on this record with me.

Being Well Balanced is basically being next to perfect and that’s what we strive for, especially with this music, by Mira Manny and me bringing you all type sounds and concepts–that you won’t and can’t get from any other Artist, because they’re going to have to live my life too. We’re back at y’all! This time with a joint record with my brother from another, Kaino. I specifically chose him for this record, because of a few reasons, the main one being that he’s one of the most solid people I fw. The content of this song would only be complemented with someone that’s solid an been solid with me personally. Other reason is the idea of the title and song stem from a old song he had called “Wheels fall off” even the junkyard idea for the video was based on his song.

I kinda adopted the ideas and put him in the picture as a REAL ONE should, we came up with this street anthem for the REAL ONES. I hope you enjoy the record and the album as a whole. My philosophy is always ride to the wheels fall off–with who’s solid with you, then y’all can put the wheels back on together and keep going…

We going ALL IN with this one! Giving you Marvel in his purest form. All in a record produced by MuzikHouz, this was a record that–when I heard it, I kinda had to highjack that mf lol. My boy C.Y. put both of his mf foot in this one–I had to go ALL IN, I just felt so at home with writing this song to this beat. The comfort was easing the words out of me and I really was able to get in my bag. The tone of the instrumentation is crazy, once again I let it talk to me and this is the conversation that we had. Book of Young Dream is a representation of the neglection of a person from a typical society. The Book of Young Dream is the Young version of me that wasn’t as mature, as smart and wise as I Am today, but tough and ready for whatever. Young Dream explored the streets, did things and escaped dire situations. The Book of Young Dream is gonna give you true Raw emotions that stem from being forced to see and experience things that was very hard to endure mentally and emotionally.

At times, me being so young dealing with so much trauma, it made me lash out and just want to snap, eventually I found myself in the streets throwing rocks at the system. I had to eventually let that character go in hiding and transform to Marvel mentally. The Book of Young Dream tell its own story and once you hear it–you’ll then get to understand everything for what it is… I really appreciate you and hope you keep a listening ear and open mind for true Artistry and Creativity…

About “To Be Continued…”

This Double disc I believe with my whole heart and soul that it was destined. This one feel spiritual in a sense of realizing that you’re the one. I had so many elements that led up to the whole out come of this project. This project was 25 years in making. Just think about it. An album inspired by 25 years of creativity. With this Double disc I was able to Introduce Young Dream and Marvel to the world in one setting. I always wanted to create a Double disc but it wasn’t time for many reasons but now time is perfect. Everyone have an alter ego and I’m showing mine. Now I know new listeners are a bit confused but The 2 names stem from the identities I had earlier on and then transitioned to later in life.

Book of Young Dream Represents that young me out being dumb in life and Young Dream was the Rap name I went by and in my city that name had its run. I had a lot of music but I was known for just sliding street Gangsta songs and people attached that name to that character and it was actually being lived so it was just a thing as I transitioned in life. As I started to mature and situations would transpire people would say what Young Dream would of done lol. I learned to appreciate it because it only said that I successfully made the separation and that’s when I knew I had to change up because I wasn’t Young and I had to make things a reality but I needed a new name. After while I realized that it was a trend to use your own name if it was catchy and my natural name was already house hold since the 50s so I had a cheat code.. lol Thank You Momma!

I decided to start using My birth name Marvel and it just went with the New Me I wanted and needed to bring balance to myself musically and mentally. Book of Marvel is where you’ll hear more artistic flows verses the hard flows Dream give you. The concepts are real but impactful mentally. Marvel represents growth Young Dream represents the streets so when you listen to each side, you’re getting 2 different eras of my life…

This project has 25 songs in total which was intentionally done just like releasing it 2-5-25. This being my 25th year from my 1st official release in 2000 now 2025 I’m releasing my 25th project is amazing and we intentionally played with that numerology once we caught on to pattern. I hope you get something from my music as you listen take your time and listen. You’re getting me in my entirety. It’s not Marvel vs Young Dream because they’re both ONE. This is just a simple introduction of one of the most Well Balanced Artists’ God created.

About “Perfect”

We’re bringing love back to the community with this one… You ain’t gotta be Perfect, just gotta be worth it, when love involved and that’s the message I put out in this record. We wanted to not just explain love, but use specific visuals to help portray the Vision we had.

The morality of world is falling apart and the main reason is because the Love is leaving the collective consciousness–starting within the homes, the Family ain’t been familying. When there’s love at home there’s less hate projected onto the streets and if you’re over the age of 21 you know that, you’re just ignoring it. Simply because so much music, movies, book etc., out here promoting the separation of Families and contentment with living a single lifestyle–when we as a People were made out of Love to Love, but our modern society has turned male and females against each other on social media especially–for clicks and shares that turns into spending unnecessary money for self gratification, which leads to having no savings put up for offense (investing) or defense (emergencies), by now if you’re honest with yourselves–you all know that you can’t save a lick on 1 paycheck with kid(s) or no kid(s) portraying that single for self lifestyle. You’re being pacified and triggered by media corporations to spend money.

It’s time to change this narrative on having/ maintaining relationships and put true Belief in the System of Love back in our Culture. Our people needed inspiration, motivation and instructions on how to Love again. We understood the assignment, so with this Perfect record here, we specifically chose this to be a musical content pivot for Love out of Love…
We don’t gotta be PERFECT… (That part!)

About “Small Town Big Dreams”

Living and Dreaming in a Small Town can have its exciting times, but it can also be depressing at times from the slow motion. Not many Dreamers make it out of Small Towns, because there’s so much resistance between the People around you that are just simply used to you, therefore they tend to devalue your Greatness and hold you back from everything different that you do. When you overcome that mental and emotional hurdle, then there’s the lack of resources etc.., you know the Small Town Blues. I push through, I’ve always been a Dreamer and Visionary, but it gets difficult at times after you’ve pursued success for so long in a Small Town.

Those emotions are what inspired this record, I know even the youth can gravitate and vibe to this song, because we all want to make it out of some place or something–especially the younger generations coming up. Due to the internet and being exposed to so many different things, opportunities and lifestyles, they got more of a chance to see plays out there for them and Dream. There’s much more opportunities for them and their peers, so they’re always aspiring to succeed. That’s why I know this record will hit home on many levels and inspire a lot of People to continue to push through as I did and continue to do. I lead by example.

When I was a teenager, my Mother had a Vision for me and she took action in helping me achieve my Dreams, she told me she saw me on the TV while on her own death bed. I’ve carried that moment with me since–just hoping to fulfill the Vision that she had set for me in this Small Town. Always DREAM BIG and never let anyone crush those Dreams of yours… Stay locked in!

Back again… I know by now y’all like he always back again, but now we’re Jumping off one of my features on this iconic soon to release Double Disc Project “To be continued…” I decided to display this BX feature with my brother Frank White. Every record we’ve collaborated on so far has been straight GAS!, so you can definitely look forward to an album from us soon.. but for now we got songs released like “Streets Call” and “Everybody knew Remix”.

This go round–we got a little vulnerable with our own personal experiences and let y’all into the same mistakes that we often make. This record reflects not just Black/ Urban society, but human society PERIOD. Because we are living in an unperfect World–where we all fall short and instead of acting like we got everything all together…we chose to display our mishaps and wrong turns in hopes that it detour you from making the Same Mistakes… So listen with your heart with this one. Having faith in something you have no control over, it can mentally tiring and emotionally draining be at times, because we have our own Human experience with timing, but that Higher Power–no matter who or what you believe that POWER is… Your plans will always come second to the plans of that POWER, lately I’ve come to innerstand–that through my life experiences. A more mature me now–see things clearer.

I’m learning to trust the process and let Life flow and keep my intentions pure, that is why I’m able to push through my personal struggles and inhibitions. I chose to put Open Arms out as a single, because the vibe is so inspiring, at this point in the World–we all need positive inspiration from somewhere and someone, why not ME.🙋🏾‍♂️

This particular record was actually the last song I created for the full project. I heard it 2 days before my last session to complete and switch up, it hit just like I thought. The beat is so classy and gangster that the lyrics just rolled out. I really think we hit it on the head with this record, from engineering to production–on to my lyrical presentation. I love tracks like this, it just let’s me give my true artistry on a poetic level. I’m so much more than a gangster rapper, I’m a true artist and this record going to prove just that…

Back again with my 3rd L.P of 2023 and this round I did a collaboration with my Up North/East Coast affiliates with features from ENels, Frank White BX, Reeko Law and Big Ike.

I choose this concept or rather it chooses me for various reasons and for most people I’m sure the Black Sheep label is worn proudly. The Black Sheep’s are the ones who end up feeding the village. I wanted to shine the light on those few that’s frowned upon just because they may move differently or look different to others that live the perfect life… Building this project was fun just like the others because I’m being the person I know myself to be and that’s an artist even at the age of 40… I  feel it’s how you adapt and perform mentally that show if you’ll have longevity and in most cases the Black sheep are the last to be standing so it all make sense.

After releasing my epic single “Feeling Like” I felt the need to follow up with this next record entitled “Give Me Space”.

I want and try my best to make all my music connect to each other so it’s understood far as the emotional direction. I don’t try having my listeners all over the place so I piece all my creative thoughts together. All of my music usually mirrors my current moods and lately I’ve been definitely in my emotional creative lane with this album Black Sheep. Give me space is a record that sits in a space of its own in society with all the stressful times going on with everyone…many including myself always in the emotional state of just wanting space to just think at the least.

This record is is kind of spin off from A record off my “Last Man Standing LP” entitled “Quite Place” both records represent the need of tranquility which one is more aggressive in approach because Quite Place is asking genuinely, but give me space kind of demands in its own way and sometimes as people we have to demand tranquility because society can be suffocating at times or all the time so I choose to artistically translate my need for this very needed tranquility through my music and I hope it connects to my listeners genuinely as I hope all my artists creations does… Again thank you for tuning in and listening to this 3rd single release from my up and coming LP Black Sheep…

As we enter a New Chapter of my Life with this New up and Coming LP Black Sheep!

My team and I dug deep in our geniuses and spiritual emotions to bring you something that the World can connect to. It’s been a while since we’ve gotten that 2Pac style of Hip-Hop and the masses are missing it, but again we come with another “hold my beer” moment, because we feel as if we’re apart of the team that the Hip-Hop Gods put together to save the culture, so we go extra hard on everything, but lately, we figured we’ll put concentration on visuals and this particular record just stood out instantaneously.

When Hanzo sent the beat I instantly gravitated to it and struck gold–quick with the hook and after that it was History. So many emotions started pouring out and the Artistic creation on the track help me bring more emotions from my life to my pen.

Filming this video was very professional dealing with NaturalBoy Films. The directing and his genius outlook came with no strain or hesitation. To say he was able to shoot and edit in a single day is phenomenal. Me having great content for him to direct definitely was a help I’m sure, so hand and hand it was the perfect recipe for an instant classic.

Feeling like is emotional, it’s moody, it’s Spiritual, it’s challenging, it’s serious and that’s what most of out lives consists of, so we know it’ll be therapeutic for the Culture. Therefore I’m glad to be the vessel chosen to carry it out, pouring into you my truth, the truth. I Am and will remain the Goat…

About “Velentine Vol. 3 | Tough Love”

Here’s another beautiful Velentine that we are celebrating with a New Release of Volume 3 | Tough Love Edition. A concoction of featured songs from the catalog along with 2 New Records that I know will definitely be on repeat–number “2. Toxic” and “12. Mistakes”. This is the 3rd consecutive Year releasing this prolific Volume Series and I plan to keep going, because when it comes to Love…there’s no limit to the subject matters that can be manifested. Volume 1 and 2 mostly revolved around romantic love and pair bonding.

For Volume 3 I decided to switch things up a bit and show the tough love that can be manifested within a relationship. We tend to act like everything is all good and never face those realities that come about between 2 People that are nurturing a bond, by ignoring the reality of discord in any situation we become vulnerable to deem them attacks when they occur, so I decided to creatively shine a light on them. Those that’ve been following me know all too well that I can deliver on any level, how I always recreate myself, well I did just that on Volume 3. About “Everybody Knew Remix”

Next on the single list is the first Remix Feature I’ve gotten in my 22 year career.

Everybody Knew Remix off the Newly released “Well Balanced” Album. This single came together by destiny to me, just like the full album. Manny was letting another affiliate of their Camp hear the original version of Everybody Knew, then he informed Frank White.BX of it based on the reaction within the camp. After insisting that Frank be featured on the song, Frank White.BX gave it one listen, a few calls back and forth later… Then Boom! Another classic was made.

Frank White is from the Bronx, NY. It was imperative to us that we had an up North influence on this Project and it happened perfectly. There will be many more collaborations between Frank and I in the future, but for now we have this awesome record. A Music Video is definitely soon to come, so please stay tuned…

About “Well Balanced”

I’m now on to my 22nd released Project in 22 years and I must say… I am still finding ways to impress myself, yet now I’m more of a person that expects a great creation from myself, I just typically don’t know the full details of how it’ll come about, so it’s always a beautiful surprise.

This 22nd Project produced by Mira Manny is one of those unexpected surprises. We put so much thought into this Project that it only took the 1st 15 songs to create this Project and all 15 made the album. Most times People have to record double the songs to have a good demo to select from, but when you have a vision, it helps you simultaneously as you are creating, so you know the direction, you have to go for each record you write. We named this Project “Well Balanced” simply because of the balance of Production and Lyrical Content.

Manny is from Jersey, I’m from Florida, so that Down North mix-up only proved itself to be crazy well balanced, all pun intended. I believe this is a cultural move for the better, we plan to cover all the bases and major grounds with this Well Balanced Project. I hope you guys enjoy this Masterpiece that’s been brewing since we met in early 2000, not even knowing we would be creating such a Classic joint together like Well Balanced in 2022, 22 years later on my 22nd Project.🎯

We are here to stay, so be ready, because it definitely gets greater from here.

About “Pamela Marie Sephes”

Living life without our mother was and still is probably the most painful thing my siblings and I have experienced. Having to think back on all the beautiful memories just to retrieve a little joy which at times tends to get blocked out with the bad memories of her leaving us or the memories of us having to separate. As a big brother I always tried my best to fulfill my promise to my Mother to make sure her youngest 2 grow up safe. It wasn’t easy but we got through it and still fighting but we all are doing fine. I wish she were here to just tell us how proud she are of us but I know she’s watching and protecting us. I personally had to watch her take her last breath and it was a blessing and curse because she was able to see her child as she left which she died with a smile but I died inside with so much confusion and hurt. My Brother went through hell my Sister had her obstacles, but hey we still here strong as ever. I personally think its amazing to be able to endure so much and still have strength to create this beautiful gift for our mom which wasn’t an easy task fir obvious reasons.

I feel like my siblings and I always been like the spokes person for people who lost their mom because we lost her so young and she was so loved it was really devastating and we wore our emotions heavy but People respected our hurt. After while I just felt like instead of us lashing out in pain how bout we put it all in our music. Since 2010 I’ve been featuring my Brother on my albums and the songs always reflected around the situation so we decided to take those songs and blend them with some new songs and create a birthday album for our Mother and honestly it was supposed to happen 2 years ago but we wasn’t ready mentally. Now its time and I believe this is one of them ones for real. We definitely appreciate all who listening and to those who lost their Mom… Just know you’re not a lone and this album will be your strength. Thank Momma Happy Birthday Pamela Marie Sephes.

When we lost him we lost a major part of what our Lives and Culture could have been. Born a Gangster, died a Legend. Question is, why do we have to become Martyrs in lieu of trying to help our own People, ironically to be taken by the hands of your own have been the ultimate blow to our own present insecurity as a Race of People. How can you get mad at others when they’re able to point out vital flaws in our Community as self-deprecating as that?

When we constructed this album we wanted to shed a light on the many flaws in our Community, at the same time expose the flaws of society overall by using Malcolm X’s Life as a foundation and point of reference, because what he represented was not just a Black Man proof of concept, but rather a Human…

Malcolm’s Life was a real metamorphosis Journey, from being a real street Gangster as Detroit Red, being incarceration then from there his Life took- to a new beginning with joining Nation of Islam. Through that revelation he grew the courage to say, you know what… I want to spread my wings more, find more of myself and what I’m made of. His passion for Us as a People was so monumental that it will remain unmatched–just as a few others like himself have come and conquered this system for the Love our People, but unfortunately they all left us due to that same exact Love…. The irony of it all.

Please listen to understand the story of a Great Man and Life’s lessons. Remembering that we have to protect those that fight for us, because when they’re gone we all lose…. X

About “Velentine Vol. 2”

2022 the 2nd year of the Velentine Series release with its 2nd Vol. Both volumes has 11 songs equaling 22.  LOL those 2’s are definitely coming in huh? But that’s just icing on the cake. This series itself is hitting hearts homes and souls with the beautiful layers of love that it represents and displays. Both are basically compilations of past music from my catalog with exception of 2 songs on Volume 1 and 3 songs on Volume 2.

I decided to add new flavor with them to spice it up knowing that several of the vibes are not dated but older yet my music is always timeless and that’s why I had confidence in the series. Most of these records are deep in the original projects they were released on so they never received the attention they deserved. That’s why I decided to create this series that target the love market so the whole project in its entirety can be appreciated as 1. This series will continue year after year but with more newer songs because eventually the older songs will run out but I will be ready.

I was raised by mostly women so I know a woman like the back of my hand therefore I use that wisdom to manipulate genuine music targeting women in not a way of degrading and disrespecting but of love and I’m sure I’m 1 of few that’s aiming my talent in that direction so I know I’m appreciated and I appreciate all who listen and are fans. I will continue to represent those Women that help me understand the true value of Women in the best way possible through my one of a kind Series Velentine… Take it from me, after-all, I’m Mr. Velentine.

Just a little insight into The Last Man Standing L.P…

“The Last Man Standing…” A major statement that can only be made by those of great stature, longevity. One that have proven their mission, showcased their strengths, their weaknesses and withstood the mighty test of Time. I remember when I first released a project way in 2000… I was young and hungry but I wasn’t aware that I would arguably be one of the best rappers in my state with a resume to prove my consistency and skill set. Over time, all I did was grind and plan, releasing album after album none stop, now 21 years later here I am, HERE I STAND, still on my two feet with a microphone in my hand, mind sharp as a double edge sword, word smith, witty as ever, flowing like water.

While others fell off, quit or took breaks and long hiatus… I kept going, even without a major support system I was basically on my own with the help of a few key players, I made myself a GOAT in my own right. I can stand toe to toe with any Emcee, that’s how I feel at this point of my career as an Artist. I’m not saying I’m “The Best” but saying that I’m one of the best in confidence of me being the competitive person that I Am.

This album is a statement album, also a dedication to my Brother BigOne who produced half of my music catalog up to date and gave me half of my game. He passed this year and I just had to find away to let him know he help create a beast in this Music Game and at the end of it all I will be there representing us collectively and anyone that believes in me.

November 11th is special to me, because another one of my brothers Lil Blue–Willie “Lil blue” Thomas’ Birthday is the 11th of November. I felt it would be an honor to drop it on his birthday and conger that positive Energy.

Still on my Gritty shit as always, back with another head knocking banger “GOD Tier” this is classic freestyle verse, basically a lyrical representation of my strength as a bonified spitter, demonstrating different flows throughout the verses on a classic track from Ceasar–I couldn’t do anything but spazz! I created this concept to fit into the whole Last Man Standing theme of the Album, I strategically placed it at the beginning of the project to set the tone as the Greatest Rapper in the South.

The content is self explanatory, as I hold back no punches–just hard hitting schemes and bars that puzzle piece together to create yet another masterpiece. I’ve been a big fan of the Battle Rap Culture the last few years, although I’ve always loved metaphorically rapping and such. My lyrical composition have always been on a high level since the 9th grade, I’ve failed P.E and passed English class with an “A” lol… but now I’m here pouring all that I’ve taken in–turning my lyrics into Timeless pieces of Art. Once again I’m back with the 1st single from my up and coming LP “Last Man Standing” instant classic. This record entitled “Here For It” was produced by my boy Analog ,who is one of my long-time producers. How did I even think of the idea? Well, of course it’s kind of a household phrase now–being used around the culture, but never been placed in an actual record, as it be–I was right on time lol. I remember the day sitting with Jay and BigOne while they produced this track. It was classic from jump and I started coming up with a hook… I believe Jay say he had something for it and told him spit it. He spit it and instantly knew it was it. They were making magic right in front of me and you had to be there and witness it to know what I’m describing. I told him off top bro this going on the album and he was down with it.

He dropped the hook and his 1st verse with the old-school flow and I blessed the 2nd and 3rd verse and it was history. I’m saddened to say that They’re both not with us now, but I know they’re somewhere creating some bangers. To say Jay transitioned a day after BigOne’s birthday–on the same year that BigOne transitioned, so this is not even registered yet smh. Last time I saw Jay was at BigOne funeral, now this time will be at his, smh… Life is short so enjoy the people you know that’s real and give them their flowers while they’re here. Please!

Just a little insight into Pain-ted Pictures L.P…

This Album was partially written next to my Dad’s Hospital bed, while I was sitting there by his side hoping that he’d make it through–the words in these songs poured out along with the tears. There’s an immense amount of pain and angst in this Project due the ups and downs of these last 2 Years. I’ve suffered pain that I feel most People don’t get to experience during a whole Lifetime while recording this Album. In spite of it all I endured, why, because I believed that if I pushed through the pain, resist the urge to give up and quit–there’s triumph ahead for me. In my painful journey to releasing this body of work, I discovered that there’s Wisdom in my pain, there’s experienced knowledge and a clear picture of what it took to get to the other side of Life’s challenges in my darkest hours.

I took that Energy and I showcased them all on this Album, a “How You Can Identity Self-made Problems For Dummies” of sort. Then I illustrated how to turn them problems into self-development and glory–if you endure the going through to get to Success & Happiness. Although it’s lengthy Project, sitting on 18 tracks, I’ve specifically written and curated each song on this Album to flow in a manner that will engage you through my due-process, concise with ease of digest. After listening to this album you will innerstand me a little more, but more importantly you will also learn to appreciate Life itself, with all of Its ups and downs. Because the key to Happiness & Success in Life is balancing yourself, your inner Man & Woman, shifting from pain to glory, from darkness to light internally at every turn of event, you got to find your way to the center of your core, where you can picture yourself doing better, then paint your way out of that funk, that depression, debt, whatever it is, picture yourself getting out of it. I made myself vulnerable throughout this Album so that you can feel my lyrics as if you’re living them. If I can do it, so can you.

I’ve gone live on FB a few times displaying a few of these songs throughout these passed couple of years while I paint, today you get to hear them tracked out, up close & personal. I hope that I make you the listener proud to say that you fwm as an Artist. December 30th is a Day of Greatness.

One thing I can say is that we’ve lost many Great People in 2020. Yet, before every Lives lost–it always seems that no one really cared to express their

gratitude to them until they were gone and that’s always an insult to their existence to me.

Like myself, I’m sure that many others are feeling the void of our Greats not being here with us, them leaving us not knowing how appreciated they are, not just the famous Great individuals, I’m talking about everyday People that get up and make things happen for their loved ones around them. Many of us everyday People never really get to express that we would like to feel that Love and say thank you back to those that show Love while we’re alive amongst the Living. This song is for the People who goes ages without receiving a small percentage of the Energy that they give out to others. We all want to hear kind words and a show of appreciation for the good deeds that we do for others, it’s Human Nature.

This song is for those of us who want to receive our flowers and be smiled upon… This is for the ones who go hard to create their Legacy by going the extra mile and doing great things against all odds, of course there’s always going to be resistance, opposition, envy and hate from the ones who despises us, but we got to ignore them and say focus on the Love that we get from the People who’s giving us our Roses everyday. This song is to remind you to show Love and compassion to someone that’s been there for you thick and thin, give that Person their Roses while they can still smell them and acknowledge you for it; they want to feel that Positive Energy from you directly, that will galvanize them to keep being Great until their final breath. 2020 is proof that all we need is Love to get us through.

“Confession, I’m stressing, looking to the sky for a blessing, then I realize through the lessons, that I’ve learned, that I’m besting, pay attention to the message that paint…”

Lost and Found is probably the most versatile song on this Pain-ted Pictures project to me. I think that this record really showed my poise, unique rap schemes and lyrical maturity. The song’s concept itself was a major compliment to me and where am at in Life right now… With that being said, I have to honorable mention my boy Manny for this soulful production sample, he produced this masterpiece. The second that I heard it, this beat moved me, it got me on my boom bap state of mind, with that comes next level raps.

If you haven’t noticed, my raps climb as the production climb, I’m a quick adapter. In the video shot & edited by Dj LaShmoove we wanted to capture every detail possible to accentuate my lyrical content. I believe we did a great job with projecting a nice gritty look and feel, showing the contrast throughout my City. I believe that this record will help solidify me as a great Lyrical Artist over Time. Everything I create is Timeless, but I believe this the 1st of its kind in my catalog. I have a few more that’s boom bap style, but I guess this is more up to date. All of my boom bap raps are FIRE! but I believe this record will be the one that I get my respect from up to date…

Pointing fingers at the Man In The Mirror…

How many of us can really say that we’ve come to the point in Life where we accept our own faults, telling yourselves that it’s you that’s doing the damage to you and bringing negative vibes to your door steps? Well that’s been me for a while now, Soul searching trying to find a better me.

This one right here–I had to get personal with the Man In The Mirror. Sometimes in Life we forget or just don’t want to face the fact that we have to come out of denial, we have to face our own demons in order to conquer the multitude of battles that we go through as a Woman, Man or Child. That’s what this record represents, this Record represents me and the battles that I’ve personally dealt with, still dealing with them to this Day. I’m sure everyone from across the World at some point had to face the Person that they are in the mirror, if you’re reading this and have not yet to faced YOU–then best believe at some point you will…

I actually re-recorded this track a few times, but after a few different opinions on track selections, plus overall delivery–I finally got the right direction with the great help of Analog–my good friend and long time Producer from Palm Beach. He really captured the essence, the cadence and flow of my soliloquy by producing this amazing track. Then he recorded my new vocals and engineered the song with his classic mix–complimentary to my vocals, which is clutch in aiding me paint yet another masterpiece. No matter who you are. The first step to becoming a better YOU is coming out of denial…

About “Poor Man Soul”

One of my most deepest poetic records ever, was and is Poor Man Soul from Timeless LP. Like many others this track is slept on so we decided to make it a single, because the culture is missing Truth telling. Poor Man Soul represents that old man or young man even the middle class that’s going through it not just financially, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually. The one’s who’s battling himself not having what he needs to create proper balance in Life.

That pressure creates poor men every day. A poor man can have all the riches in the World, but his Soul is a dry and broken place, he has no real vision, he’s empty inside and that makes him poor. We’re all poor in our own ways, we’re Human, short-comings are part of our existence, this is why I created this tune–to exploit that POV, because we can only change what we’re willing to face. This record will forever be a Timeless record, because there will always be a poor man in this World.

About “Don’t Look Back”

Don’t look back… Another anthem from the one and only–Marvel. This record was inspired by the theme of the  “Pain-ted Pictures” Album, the way I put the story line together for the project together I just had to add this concept for juxtaposition, because we can talk about how hard we have it, but only a few People will inspire you to look around those hardships in the midst of it. Quite obviously I’m one of those few.

“Pain-ted Pictures” is probably one of my most put together and cohesive project up to date period. These tracks came from pain and a deeper place in my Soul. Like I stated earlier, Don’t Look Back is a phrase we all need to hear when we’re in pursuit of success or a better Life in the Present to yield the Future that we’re trying to see come true.

This song is for your Future mistakes and those that have made their fair share of mistakes in Life, but understand the part that they played in it, fully takes accountability for their mishaps and is ready to move on towards CHANGE. We can all change together for a better tomorrow once we put yesterday’s troubles behind us and DON’T LOOK BACK… 🐐😎

About “Mama’s Baby”

I know that I will always be my Mama‘s Baby, but the world treat me like I’m crazy–that’s what I be feeling most time. She’s the reason why I had to learn to express my pain after losing Her. I’ve been pain-ting pictures for the Love that I had and lost since my Mother transitioned.

I loved the warm heartfelt Love that my Mom had for me growing up. Some of us can’t go without that kind of Love, some of us learn to live without it somehow, but that void is always there. As long as it’s been, it still hurts when I hear the lines in this song, I know this song will touch many People, just as it touched me writing it. We all know that no matter what, Mama always got our back–right or wrong Mama’s going to be there for Her baby, through thick and thin. The World may treat us like this and like that, but Mama’s going to stand Her ground for Her children. She’s never going to just let the World take full advantage of Her baby without a fight, that’s why we have to protect our Mamas at all costs and do the same for Her as She ages, don’t let the system take advantage of Her in those Golden years.

This whole album I got into my melodic mood and frequency, I really tried to get in my bag with Mama‘s Baby, because I wanted the emotions to come out and flow through. I hope that you all can feel it through this song; keep it on repeat, smoke one to this for your Mama, pour out a drink for the Queen’s Love & care for you. Show love to Mom every time that you get a chance. If she’s alive call Her and express the gratitude that you have for Her.

About “Challenges”

In Life we all face challenges… That is the reason why I’ve decided to pain’t this picture musically with this record. The World is pre-programmed to create new challenges for us everyday, there’s no avoiding it, just preparations and grit. Some of us are trying to save their Homes, some are learning how to walk again, some are going to bed hoping that they have their sight back in the morning.., etc you name it; someone’s going through it.

There’s too many challenging scenarios to name, but one good thing about challenges is that it makes us all equal going into them; pitiful or exceptional going out of them. On every level–rich or poor there’s a challenge to face if you’re alive, as they say “there’s a devil for every level” how you handle yourself in the midst of your challenges determines your outcome in Life, it builds character. Today the World is facing a formidable challenge with the Corona Virus plaguing us all Worldwide, but together as one World–we will heal and conquer it as we’ve done before in the past.

About “Best Friend & Lovers”

In Life, some of us enjoy being a cyclical side Nigga or a side Chick, monogamy is not for everybody… Me personally, I’ve had my fun–sometimes your Soul gets an urge to find and Love on that one special person. That best friend you can bring your secrets to. That best friend that’s going to correct you with love–not hostility, bring tranquility to your chaos.

When I thought of this record I had the movie Love and Basketball in mind. We’ve all had that sweet love-hate companion type of vibe at some point in our lives, if you’re in one now, I’m praying for you! Nonetheless, we all aspire to have a connection strong enough to endure and push towards endless Agape Love, but timing and compatibility matters. This person may be from your childhood or they can be in the same grocery aisle as you in an opportune Time, fate may put you two there, but it’s on you to grasp the moment and do the rest.

I grasped that moment when I created this classic with help of BigOne Production, I think we got a baby maker with this one. Go ahead and vibe to this one, but then go ahead and make that call, don’t have too much pride, the 1st move is gender neutral.🐐😎

About “Head Down Single”

These days there are many that are facing hard times, no different from the days before us in this Generation. The main difference is that there’s no balance in the Hip Hop Genre, the hardships, the love lost, the cyclical criminal system’s traps–the  that same one’s that we keep getting caught up in without fail, where’s the music to paint those pictures from that point of view? Personally I feel substance and truth is missing from Hip-Hop and truly many artist are letting the fans dictate their musical vision, when as an Artist you are the controller of what’s being projected from your artistry.

This album, starting with this single–I felt the need to give you the People a balance from the music that you’ve been receiving. It confuses people outlook on life when they’re given music and other influences that causes them to portray a life or character thats not them in most cases especially in music you hear all the glammer and recite it daily which settles you to be content not realizing that your life isn’t where it should be.

Starting with this first single/first track on the Album, a BigOne Beats Production. I wanted to give you an up-tempo vibrant tune and energetic flow, all the while giving you straight BARS, lyricism and premium content to vibe to, not just rapping and throwing random words together and letting the beat do most of the work.

 

Starting with the messaging in the Hook, I really wanted to start the song off with versatility and vigor, to let you know that I’m creative and that I’ve been in the lab putting in major work in my Artistry, elevating my craft. I guess by now we all get the drift; track after track I’m single handedly proving how genius I am on the Mic. It’s a must that I showcase my versatility by dropping Bars with different flows on some of the best Recording Artists’ memorable Records. Arguably Biggie’s “Who Shot Ya” is in the Top 3 Diss Records of All Time! From his flow, the bars, to the production it self — of course I had to jump in that water.

As i stated before, I’m expecting criticism because these songs and Artists are iconic. Nonetheless, I’m also expecting some praise, because each record that I Hip Hop on — I’m complimenting; with Bars! I made it my business to bar this record up like a jail cell.

Grit Em Up I.E 2Pac’s most memorable Record in Hip Hop’s History; “Hit Em Up” which one can argue that is one–if not The Greatest Diss Record of All Time. I followed up with this specific Chapter because of the obvious reason; timing. With the 2Pac Movie slated to be released this Summer 17, we figured that it would be perfect timing to pay homage to the late Great Tupac Shakur, in a way that any Hip Hop Greats should be paid respect to — with BARS! It’s the righteous way.

Hopefully you all like this Chapter. Caveat, now because 2Pac anything is a touchy subject, I know that criticism may come my way just for doing a 2Pac beat, but I’m ready for anything Hip Hop related. Let’s keep it righteous, I’m waiting to see and hear your feedback. Bless!

About “Walls”

We are in the Times of Hurt and Isolation; both Males and Females, we as a People are all strands of Islands in 2015. We all know when it comes to Hyper Emotions Women trumps Men in expressing their raw emotional side of things, for great reasons at Times perhaps. This track is one of my ideal representations of our Modern days’ Queens day-to-day emotional process.

“Walls” Every Female either have a Wall put up for protection; Pride, Self Respect, Self Worth, Dignity and so forth… But at the Present Times in this 21st Century, that Wall is mostly up because of a heart breaking relationship or a personal situation that may have occurred in the past and now she would rather just be hyper independent and be alone then to be forced to wear those emotions on her sleeve and deal with it accordingly. So instead, she covers it all stone-by-stone, brick-by-brick with being an over achiever, hyper dating, hyper expressive, hyper aggressive, controlling, non-trusting, hyper sexual and etc…,

I’m a Man that was raised around Women and had a close relationship with his Mother and his Sisters. Furthermore, now I have a Daughter of my own that I have to pay close attention to, I can quickly acknowledge when she’s wearing her emotions on her sleeves. I swiftly evaluate the situation and deliberate on how I can be of help to her.

Me growing up and being around a lot Females even in my adulthood truly help me understand my opposite sex. About “Unarmed”

First and foremost I would like to say Rest in Peace to all of the Unarmed Black Men and Women that have lost their lives Nationwide without due-process of the Law that is usually afforded to the rest of the Citizens of our beautiful Country.

With that being said; it is the quintessential “why did I make this record” – to address the brutality and heinous behaviors of local Police officers taking place all around the Land of the Free. Aren’t we all Free to be? Aren’t we Free to be found guilty or not guilty in the Court of Law encase of a blunder? Why are we Free to be sentenced to Death and be executed without Due-Process by Law Enforcement Officer? We can not continue to sit and just take it with a grain of salt-hoping for change. The death tolls will only pile up at this rate. Martin Luther King Jr. once said that “an injustice to one is an injustice to all” I can’t just sit back and watch in silence. Therefore as an Artist and a Black Man myself-I felt the need to shed light on the situation in my own respective perspective and creative outlet.

The minute that I heard this track produced by my King Kool. I was primarily tuned in to the “Trouble Man” sample. That sample has a double-standard meaning to me. To me it speaks on the inherent common outlook of Black Men in society, the constant negative portrayal of my people in the mass media, the prejudices, the less-than feelings and stigmas that we have to live with everyday of our lives here in America; simply for being a Black Man or Woman, when we were Kings and Queens in our Ancestral homeland. Then it also displays the actual “Troubled Man” that of the Police Officer that is not upholding the very Laws inscribed in our Constitution, to serve and protect us all Citizens of the United States of America without prejudices. If a man is killed Unarmed during a routine encounter with an Officer of the Law, that Officer is not obeying the very Law that they’ve sworn to uphold. Judicial Law mandates that Judgement be left to appointed Judges and Juries.

This record is a reflection of what we are facing as a Country, not just as Black Men & Women, we’re all on the same US Boat, if it happens to me it can happen to you, you and you, yes you too. My verse simply pointed out some of my personal feelings towards the situation, angst that I have when dealing with the Police; Black or White in my own City, so that you-the listeners can see the picture that I’m trying to paint.

The second verse is featuring Balli Byrd – who basically painted a simple picture of a man just being himself, minding his business walking home, yet is forced to face unlawful Police brutality during an encounter with Law Enforcement for fitting their prejudice profile.

It’s sad, but true. Count it not just music and entertainment, rather real Life on a track. As you are reading this there’s an Unarmed Man or Woman somewhere being physically abused, tasered or shot, unlawfully – Black, Spanish, White, victims of all races. All can relate to this record, unfortunately all can be victimized by unprofessional Police Officers. Back in the day it wasn’t uncommon for a regular hard working Citizen to get respect from a Police Officer during an encounter. This hostile behavior being displayed nowadays was primarily reserved for street thugs and criminals who’d catch hell from the Police trying to escape or retaliate with force of their own. Now it’s like an open season them vs. us war; Badges against no Badges in the Lower and some Middle Class Citizens. They wouldn’t dare touch the Rich. It’s very sad and unfortunate, because an Officer of the Law was kind of cool and well respected to be when you was younger playing cops and robbers.

Nowadays even babies look at Cops strange with fear like they’re monsters. This has to change, because we’re now a Society of People that is forced to trust crooked and rogue Cops for our protection.

Such an irony it is. All I can say is educate yourself with the laws on the books, get a legit permit for your legally purchased firearms and stay prayed up. If you get pulled over by the Police; don’t stop until you somewhere near other People and or in a well lit area.

About “Parents”

This Record entitled “Parents” is one of my most heartfelt song that I’ve ever written up to date, simply because of the pure personal experience motivating it.

I’m a man that have the innate mentality of wanting to have a complete Family; comprising of both Parents in the Kids’ Life; day-in and day-out. Unfortunately my situation didn’t go that way, but I learned through all the ups and downs of it coming to pass in the way that it did. Which is the main reason why I always encourage Parenting as a unit, and being good co-Parents if you’re not together as a couple; I especially advocate this with passion and vigor within the Black Community.

We as a People need to have more of a pure influence on our Children in terms of – healthy Man, Woman and Child interactions, it’s highly warranted by everyone, but it isn’t the case most of the times. Nonetheless all isn’t lost, therefore I respectfully suggest as a Parent myself that you – no matter what; Love that Mother or Father of your Child and it will carry a strong bond and chemistry for your Child(ren) to have similar relationships in their future.

About “The King is Gone”

This Tribute record was inspired by the passing of our late great Mr. BB King; the King of Blues and a forefather of the style of music. Just days prior to his funeral I was called by the Mayor of our City to help honor Mr. King with a tribute performance, along with other R&B and Soul artists. I felt honored, because I was the only Hip-Hop Artist summoned to do such a great task and I must say that it really felt good. The tribute was held at our City Hall in front of maybe 150 people.

At first, I was about to just perform a few old school remixes which I still performed, but the morning of the event I woke up and it hit my spirit to actually remake one of BB Kings own records; of course with the help of my #1 producer Big One, we came up with the idea of remaking “The Thrill is Gone”. In his true fashion Big One laced the track and we connected with Jett Hall which is an older R&B Artist from our City and with his Old School Vibe and our New School Funk we created a Classic to help remember one of the Best Musicians to ever do it…

About “Fathers Days”

First off I will like to say Happy Father’s Days to all of my Fathers out there worldwide. Just like Mother’s day, Father’s day should be an everyday thing to celebrate, but it is not. It’s truly a crime to single out one special day to celebrate the blood, sweat and tears that we the Kings have to endure to raise our child (ren) as a single Father, or better yet as a family unit.

On to the record, this song entitled Father’s Days was inspired by the sounds and vision of my King Diggah. From the very few seconds that I heard the track I think I just pictured my daughter’s face, it was almost as if Diggz thought of my daughter and I throughout the process of him creating this sultry track. The funny thing is that I have never physically hung out with Diggz a day in my life, laughing out loud. Pip sent me over the track and told me to meditate on it, the rest was history. Now Father’s Days is officially the first Single off of the New Album “Untitled – Accepting Ideas From God”

In the process of me writing the lyrics, it put me in the state of mind of my “Daughterless Father” poetry, which you can Click Here or you can find it in my personal writing directory for the point of reference, but it spoke volume and we really feel like it’s time for us to grasp onto our children as Fathers and Kings. Be the leaders that our offspring’s strongly desire for us to be and show them the correct path of righteousness, the way that God set forth is to live and live more abundantly. Without you being there as a father and leader, you break that immediate connection to Godhood and abundant living, leaving the child to figure things out on their own, like they say, an idle mind is the devil’s playground. I beg all of you fathers out there to be proactive from this day forth, get engaged with your little ones. Don’t allow baby Momma drama to get in the way of you being there for your Prince & Princesses. It sounds cliché and all, but they are truly our future.

About “Misunderstood”

 

Back at it again after not releasing a project in a year and a half which was my latest LP ashes. I’m now sneaking a mixtape out to the streets titled “Misunderstood”. This is just a token of love to my true supporters and new supporters. This mixtape was supposed to be apart of a double disc that was supposed to release in December on my birthday then on MLK birthday but both dates got cancelled because we didn’t want to just throw a album out with no awareness so we decided to wait till right timing.

 

After while we then decided that it may be hard to have a successful double disc knowing one side may get more attention which happened with Biggie.. Tupac..etc so we separated the two and I decided to just make a free mixtape for the streets. And the album which is entitled Untitled a accepting ideas from God will be released sometime late April. This mixtape consist of down to earth street/soul musiq that the average street thug or everyday individual can relate to even have a couple club vibes but great content as in the album is very heart felt far as motivational, Inspirational Spiritual and full of knowledge and truth. Spiritual and most of all Peaceful.. The mixtape has great sounds also I think they both will compliment each other and I’m hoping the mixtape pull all the street people in to wanna hear more and I can set them up for the album release which will be big and really what they need from the aspect of pure peace and knowledge.

 

So I hope you enjoy this mixtape. Misunderstood is what I am to most because the choose not to get to know me so they tend to judge.. And now I can literally give people something to help them understand me once you listen to this mixtape..

About “Momma My Queen”

My mother passed away October of 2003… Every since that day I’ve been traumatized, because I watched her beautiful eyes close for the last time. Nevertheless, I suffered out the bad and took heed to the good and let it make me the better person that I am in life today. My mother raised me to be a man, therefore I do what I can as her son and as a man to acknowledge her existence and influence on me every chance that I can, so if you’ve a fan that followed my music career since day one, then you’ve noticed that every album I relate a song to the memory of my mother.

Well, on to “Momma My Queen” this specific track was special to me, because it actually spoke as a reference for all mothers. To me all mothers are Super Heroes & Queens.

My Boi C.Y created a perfect track for the occasion and with that in place I had my Boi Mr. Palm Beach bless the track with me; expressing himself through a very intimate verse about the lost of his mother. At the end of the day we kind of dedicated this song to all mothers alike, but also to the individuals whom lost their mothers. To the individuals that still have their mothers alive and well, we’re hoping that this song help you build better bonds and create more cherish-able moments with your mothers, please don’t take your mothers fore-granted.

The word Mother is one and only. We salute great fathers, because we are great fathers ourselves, but men will never witness the physically nor the emotionally pain it takes to be a Mother. Therefore our mothers are Queens to us…

Who doesn’t want to be trusted?? Rather in a friendship, a marriage, parent to child connection, a business partnership or simple everyday citizen to citizen, neighbor to neighbor relationship… We all want that one person, group or the mass that we are trying to reach to believe in us. This song wasn’t really planned or contemplated in the early conception of the album Ashes L.P, but the minute that I heard this LCP produced banger, it immediately stood out to me, and I knew that the song had to be just as big as the beat, if not bigger.

 

After having that conversation with the instruments (yeah I talk to them, so… LOL) I believed in each and every sound, then after meditating for a while I wrote the hook effortlessly, at that very moment, I knew then that the beat trusted and believed in me also. From there on I regarded that this topic would hit home with many different people in many different situations, then light-bulb, I felt the need to believe in Ike Turna and TeeJay

 

The rest is history, throughout this whole process, from production, conception, performance and recording I truly believe that no one was let down. Now it’s your turn to believe… Let me know what you think!

I guess I’m suppose to sit back and let my people fall in retreat… Naw, I can’t, because my people make me strong and I’ve seen so much in my life time that kept me with low spirits that I had to find away of up lifting myself… So when I wake up in the A.M. I tell myself there will be a Better Day then I go work towards it…

 

When I originally heard this track I caught chill-bumps all over and even though I had never heard the track before, I envisioned the lyrics and Ace my long time music producer told me that he knew I would make the song cry, then on the first verse, as soon as J.MO from Trakkillaz preceded to record my vocals… I started shedding tears, but I couldn’t stop rapping, and even though my eyes were blurry I squeezed out enough sight to read the rest of my lyrics and once I finished… I smiled, because I knew this song would give hope, which was the complete direction of the album… No matter what color, race, religion, class, culture and etc… We all want to see better days… Even the wealthy have there down moments… Therefor no-one is excluded from the spirit of love this track have to give…. This track is a corner stone on this Classic Album “Ashes” that God inspired song after song.

This track was created to be motivation for all the sensual lovers out there, with the input of 4 Kings. Myself, Andre Hunter, Mystro of Trakkilaz and J Mel-O-D blessing the hook.

We all collectively came up with this chorus, as J Mel was in the booth we fed him the lyrics, but even before that, this song wouldn’t have even been in existence without the quick ear of Andre and myself… As Mystro was going through different sounds and patterns on the keyboard.

I love my people… I’ve always been a down to earth type of person, so when it came to me losing my kinfolk or any loved ones, it hurts, this song “Missing You” is more expected from me, than a surprise, if you’re a long time fan of mines… I always represent, even for the ones that can’t be here, or for the ones that don’t have a voice loud enough to speak up for themselves… Somebody gotta do it constantly and it also helps you cope with missing someone, who ever they are, its basically a Testimony for both sides of the coin…

I originally wrote and recorded this track in 2007, but I never released it until now, because Lil Webbie from Trill Ent. released the same remix sample back in ’07, he was too big for me too compete against at the time, so I held it back for my next album release. I guess God knew what HE wanted, because it was perfect flow, timing and fit on this L.P, like lightening in a bottle. This track ended up blending in perfectly on this Classic Album that God put on my heart to name “Ashes”.

“Love Life” is arguably one of the most Hip Hop God fulfilled Songs of 2013, but you will never know that it was written in 2007. During a time when I was going through a financial set back and was in trouble with the law, but I always had faith. At the time I was staying with my aunt and 1 night “Loving Life” just hit my heart and I started feeling joy in my spirit, as destiny will have it, I already had this track from BigOne.

I got up, put the track on and the lyrics just poured out like they’ve been fighting to touch the paper & pen for decades, after I got finished writing it, I felt like I’d been anointed. Writing this song made me a proud artist, knowing that I had recently beat firearm charges in court and other serious criminal charges, I just felt the need to put in that time to share my testimony. This song have been performed in churches and all. I truly believe in Jesus, therefor this song was my way of letting it be known to the masses.

Vibe is a track that was inspired by me just sitting and thinking about my past and how I managed to escape this recent major car accident, minor shortcomings and life’s ups and downs period, although I really go through it hard at times, it isn’t all bad.. As an artist, an overall real person period!

I figured why not write a song about those roller-coasting moments in life, but not in a sad way, rather something for the Vibing lane, some solace for those who are possibly going through some rough patches in their own lives, to let them know that they’re not alone out here, I feel those same angst and disparities at time, but its a must that you stay focus and move forward in a positive manner.

When we talk about being Royalty; we are talking about that Man or Woman that’s doing what’s needed to be someone greater than their predecessors and expectations in Life.

Just like that single Mother with 3 kids and 2 jobs that never have time for herself, because she decided to be a Super Star to her Kids. Or that Father that never graduated, but knows that he have to feed his family, so he is out in that hot Sun doing hard manual labor to bring in groceries and pay the bills, simply because he decided to be a Super Star for his Family.

Even for that first in the family College Student that went through those dreadful years of being broke, under pressure and homesick, but managed to graduate at the top of his or her Class, because he or she knows that Mom-and-or-Pops worked hard to set them up to be their best in Life. We have all types of Super Stars in the Hood, outside of it and all across the World.

A Super Star is not just that famous Person that may have been born in wealth and stardom. Rather it can very much be that honest living Person; that never let circumstances in Life get them down, kept striving to be better for themselves and the Loved ones around them. We can all be a Super Star in Life or better yet you probably already are, just haven’t been noticed. Trust me when I say this, I see you, I noticed your hard work, determination and sacrifices, you’re a Super Star!

When we talk about being Royalty; we are talking about that Man or Woman that’s doing what’s needed to be someone greater than their predecessors and expectations in Life.

Those individuals are our SuperStars, they are the one’s that realizes their mistakes made in Life in real-time, took heed and capitalized on it anyways. Just like that single Mother with 3 kids and 2 jobs that never have time for herself, because she decided to be a SuperStar to her Kids. Or that Father that never graduated, but knows that he have to feed his family, so he is out in that hot Sun doing hard manual labor to bring in groceries and pay the bills, simply because he decided to be a SuperStar for his Family.

Even for that first in the family College Student that went through those dreadful years of being broke, under pressure and homesick, but managed to graduate at the top of his or her Class, because he or she knows that Mom-and-or-Pops worked hard to set them up to be their best in Life. We have all types of SuperStars in the Hood, outside of it and all across the World.

A SuperStar is not just that famous Person that may have been born in wealth and stardom. Rather it can very much be that honest living Person; that never let circumstances in Life get them down, kept striving to be better for themselves and the Loved ones around them. We can all be a SuperStar in Life or better yet you probably already are, just haven’t been noticed. Trust me when I say this, I see you, I noticed your hard work, determination and sacrifices, you’re a SuperStar!

About “Ashes L.P”

This album Ashes is a self-made definition of myself and the Rap game in its present state… I’ve always felt that there isn’t any more real music left in the game So…Over time I take great pride in remaining an artist that still creates real Hip Hop. Several of the tracks on here was written & recorded years ago…. I just never felt like the World Around me was ready to hear them yet. So I hadn’t Released those songs until… Such as Testify that was recorded 3 weeks out of the Hospital from my 2010 accident…Love life and Cruise Control was recorded in 2007, So was Stop the pimping and Missing you….

This album reflects some of the personal pain I’ve been Through over the years…Everything is real when I Speak it. So just know that you’re getting soulful sound when you hear this album…Also I dedicate this album to Nestor Nogues and my Lovely Mother Pamela M. Sephes..Both of yall will be missed….I Appreciate the Little time we did share.

What it do… It’s ya boi Marvel some may know me as Young Dream… Without any further adieu I been gone for a minute, but I’m back to make a statement. “I’m gone dumb…I need a tutor” Da Mixtape is the second release after my 2010 accident in Miami FL. On August 15th. This project is basically a statement setting for my people and my city Palm Beach County.

I got the name from just the thought of me knowing I haven’t released an album in 3 years so I had to go dumb and that’s the influence I received from my accident and the set back it gave me, I’m good and breathing, so I’m blessed you hear meh..

About “Welcum 2 My Wurl”

2011 was…, well, I can truly say that 2011 was a blessed year for me, because just a few months before the ball dropped to 2011 I survived a deadly car accident in Miami FL. on August 15th 2010 that instantly killed the driver Nestor Nogues (R.I.P), but prior to the accident I was formulating this album, so once I did heal up by the grace of God I continued recording and finished it.

Funny thing is, before it earned the title “Welcum 2 Wy Wurl”, it was going to be titled “Vol 2” to my “I Am Da 1” album from 2005-2006. Nevertheless, some how this “Welcum 2 Wy Wurl” title stuck to me in a special way and the rest was history. At the time, I felt that many people didn’t know me as well as they should have and this album kind of pointed out some specifics about me; with Songs like “Take no shit” produced by Big One or “Trouble Seen” feat my Younger brother King E. repping Bloody Bands in South Carolina, also produced by Big One. Those particular tracks and many more of their kind, was recorded to give you a good perspective of me as a person…

A few songs from the album was influenced by my late friend Nestor Nogues who passed away in the accident. Hours prior to the fatal crash we both were enjoying life on South Beach, he was a Cubano who went through many trials and tribulations in life himself, fate would have it we crossed paths and he took a liking to me so he felt the need to give me some game time to time. That which I’ve honored till this day, because some of those things were the last things that he said to me. I remember him listening to my “Bak on Dat G Shyt” album and him saying “I liked this” but if you come with some West Coast Gangsta type flows you will pop off. That’s pretty much where the song “U can tell” came in place. Also, “Take no shit” was something he personally expressed to me dearly. He said “Marvel I don’t care if it’s your mother, your father, brother, sister, girl friend, who ever, never take shit from no one, make sure they respect you and you respect them.” Out of all the things that he’s said to me, those things stuck with me the most, and actually “Take No Shit” is some people’s favorite song on the album, not unbeknownst that my boy Nestor influenced it. Thanks bro!

I thank you reading this also, for taking the time out of your busy day to listen and read about this album to understand part of the making of this project.. Get ready for real artistry and story telling at its best.

About “Back On Dat G-Shyt”

“Back On Dat G-Shyt” mixtape was recorded partially out of a home studio. My ol’ time homie Jeffrey Dumbar and Tyler my youngest brother ol’ time best friend from Ivey Green (IGP) blessed me for the low and the quality was pretty good I must say….

It was recorded on a mixer… no computer just like my first album in 2000 “How I Live Is How I Live” recorded by BigOne. I recorded this mixtape in 2008, this mixtape had a few personal things that I had going on in my life at the time but through it all, the pain and everything else help make it a decent independent released mixtape. I did the only video to this mixtape in Decatur Georgia with the help of Bubbln Champaign, Saddafold Ent. and Proper Etiquette.

With that said, I hope that I gave you a lil bit of insight on the influence of this mixtape.
